Veneto is the region that can be proud of diverse wine productions, among which there are many wine names with certificates like amarone della valpolicella, soave, chardonnay, cabernet, merlot, verduzzo, that arer high quality wines

ITINERARY

DAY 1. arrival in Lake Garda, accommodations in a 3* (4* or  5*) hotel Afternoon to explore Lake Garda situated in a beautiful mountain setting, it’s the most Mediterranean of the Alpine Italian Lakes. Garda ‘s shores, studded with villages and small towns, add much charm to the landscape of a beautiful natural environment.

DAY 2.  Late morning departure for the Wine Estate Corteforte. Tour and dégustation of their wonderful white Soave, made from garganega grapes, a typical variety of the Veneto’s  Verona area Arrival in Verona, a beautiful small city immortalized by Shakespeare.  The unique  combination of Roman and Medieval ruins enhances this gourmet’s paradise. Lunch at  the exclusive restaurant "Il Cenacolo".  Tour of the city which includes the  Arena, Piazza della Erbe’s  Market, Juliet’s Balcony,, etc.. with time for shopping

DAY 3.   Excursion to Soave, an ancient walled city with a crenellated castle and dozens of charming tasting opportunities. A visit to the Wine Estate Pieropan and also the large underground cellars of the Cantina di Castello, where grapes are dried for the sweet recioto wine. There was once a secret passageway to link the cantina to the castle. Afternoon visit to Vicenza, which prospered under Venetian rule from the early 15th to the end of the 18th century. The work of Andrea Palladio (1508–80), based on a detailed study of classical Roman architecture, gives the city its unique appearance. Late afternoon visit to the world famous Zonin estate which includes tour and dégustation.  Their Recioto di Gambellara is made in the Passito method.This means, grapes are dried in a cool, airy room for up to 4 months until semi-dry and consequently produce concentrated sugars and flavors. Their outstanding Prosecco, has a truly inviting flowery and fruity note. The main ingredient necessary in making the Bellini Cocktail is Prosecco  with white peach  juice.
