Arrival in Parma - accommodations in a 4 star superior hotel Tour of the city with local guide which includes the Ducal Palace and Park,
the splendid wooden Farnese Theater - a unique 16°century masterpiece in
the baroque style. Additionally, the Cathedral - Duomo, Baptistry, Camera
di San Paolo and the marvelous Renaissance Church Santa Maria di Steccata conclude the morning tour.
Lunch - we'll savour the authentic prosciutto di Parma, parmigiano-reggiano
cheese, tortelli, the typical local Malvasia wine in a delightful trattoria

A day in the surrounding area of Parma to meet the cheese-maker,
salame laboratory, balsamic vinegar tasting and dégustation of wines
after visiting a wine estate. Lunch - another tastebud happening in a local trattoria. Afternoon in Parma to tour with local guide the National Gallery located in the Palace of the Pilotta and as the director of the Louvre stated, the
"jewel" which is the Museum of Maria Luigia and Napoleon.

A day dedicated to sumptuous residences and beautiful castles surrounding Parma - visit also to Giuseppe Verdi's hometown where he composed many of his famous operas, Aida, Traviata, Nabucco. Lunch - together...on-the-road in the countryside of Busseto. Afternoon cooking lesson - hands-on happening for both "Ladies and Gentlemen" of Parma's exquisite specialities - perhaps risotto alla
parmigiana, tortelli with a "special filling", the classic stracotto, veal
ossobuco, duck in balsamic style and a rich assortment of desserts -chocolate salame, almond cake with sautéed strawberry sauce, etc.
