 Province of Oristano is an unspoilt region where man's presence has developed in perfect harmony with the environment. The Sinis Coastline, for example, is still almost virgin territory with beaches nestling among pinewoods and lagoons, home also to the pink flamingos
Other unforgettable sights include the Cabras lagoons and fish lakes, the ancient Roman settlement of Tharros, a number of fascinating Nuraghi and the spectacular Sinis coast.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Car hire at the arrival in Alghero Airport.  Drive to reach the hotel. Dinner at the hotel 
DAY 2 -  Free time to have bath of sun and to swimm in some of the wonderful beaches of west coast. The Sinis Peninsular boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia: Is Aruttas. This beach is characterised by the brilliant white of the quartz grains, smoothed by the waves, and by its emerald-green sea. Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3 - The towers builders. voyage at the discovery of what old sardinian have left to us. In the morning we will visit some old "nuraghe" around Oristano (about 6 hours). Free lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at the hotel
DAY 4  - Free day  for beach life or for visiting this beautiful land with its breathtaking landscapes. We can suggest also to visit Mal di Ventre Island. The island is a uniform shape, covered in bushes and inhabited by rabbits and marine birds.
A stroll along the shores offers visitors the chance to discover the many charming corners of this island, with its small bays and the magnificent colour of the transparent water. Dinner at the hotel
DAY 5 - Tharros - guided visit to the collections of Roman age , in the Oristano museum and to the old ruins of the phoenician town of Tharros. Free lunch and afternon at leisure. Dinner at the hotel   
DAY 6 -   Free time for shopping. We suggest you to visit the town of San Vero Milis  noted for its production of baskets. Artisans skilfully weave together the vegetable fibres from palmets, asphodel plants and other marshland grasses to create these magnificent baskets. If you prefer jewels the artisan goldsmiths from Oristano are masters at creating genuine works of art in gold filigree, reproducing ancient designs. People come from all over to admire the production of Sardinia wedding rings, buttons, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and brooches. Oristano is also noted for its coral work, a craft which has ancient roots. The Phoenicians were, in fact, the first to fish for coral. Dinner at the hotel
DAY 7 - The origin of christianity: the first witnesses of the religion that changed Roman empire. We will visit the church of san giovanni, the hypogeum of san salvatore and the baptisimal church of Nurachi. Free lunch and afternoon. Dinner at the hotel
DAY 8  - Delivery of the car in alghero airport. Departure
